Who runs this site
speedsharma.com is the personal site of Sanjeev Sharma, based in Gurugram, India. For anything in this policy, write to hello@speedsharma.com.
What I collect, and when
- The newsletter form. Your email address, which page you signed up from, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. The last two exist to spot abuse. Nothing is shared or sold.
- The contact form. Whatever you type into it: name, email, company, budget band and message. It is stored in the site's database and emailed to me so I can reply.
- The calculators in blog posts. Nothing. They run entirely in your browser; the numbers you enter never leave your device.
The site itself sets no cookies of its own and has no accounts or logins.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Blog pages show ads served by Google AdSense. To do that:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you will see a consent message from Google before any personalised ads load. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that message leaves on the page.
Other services the pages load
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser requests them from Google's servers, which see your IP address.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics counts page views and where visitors came from. According to Ahrefs, it is cookieless and does not track you across sites.
- Calendly handles bookings if you click "Book a call". That happens on calendly.com under their privacy policy, not mine.
How long I keep it
Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove them. Contact messages stay for as long as the conversation might matter, and are deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@speedsharma.com from the address in question and I will do it within 30 days, usually the same week.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
